Ennea is a journey. Ennea is much more than a concert. It is a timeless odyssey that brings jazz eras into dialogue with the present. At the crossroads of generations, this project pays tribute to the vibrant artistic life of Lausanne by breathing new life and brilliance into the compositions of the legendary Jazzorange band. Behind this renaissance stands Bob Arnedo, founder of Ennea and former leader of Jazzorange. Faithful to his ambition to push the boundaries of creation, he reinvents these pieces that once made the Swiss and international scene vibrate, propelling them into a new collective setting. For this adventure, he surrounded himself with exceptional musicians. Some members of Le Chic Astral with whom we applauded them at the Romandy jam sessions, as well as personalities from further afield, such as the Cuban percussionist Luisito Aballe. The meeting of these talents, rich in their multiple influences, gives birth to a sound fresco that is as much a celebration as a revelation. Ennea promises to be an intergenerational, slightly cosmic, always vibrant musical adventure: an invitation to let yourself be carried away, between heritage and invention, Lausanne roots and harmonious flights.
