Tao

A long-time percussionist, Tao has cultivated a passion for all musical styles. He has developed a precise, creative, and versatile style that blends technical skill with strong expressiveness. He has accompanied numerous jazz groups both in the studio and on stage, and taken part in notable projects such as the JazzOrange tour in Tunisia and performances at the Cully Jazz Festival with Fujazz Five. Curious and open-minded, he has enjoyed many collaborations and jam sessions over the years, notably at the Montreux Jazz Festival alongside his lifelong friend Bob Arnedo. His personal rhythmic language, where jazz, contemporary grooves, and improvisation meet, aims to transmit energy and emotion to the audience.
